Financial Accountant

A.P.T. Research is a proprietary trading group, specializes in quantitative strategies, statistical analysis and algorithms. It was set up in 2009, and has grown rapidly to become the largest proprietary trading house in India. 

Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of financial statements, including half yearly and annual accounts.
2. Prepare and maintain the accounting records, voucher creation, bank reconciliation etc.
3. Preparation and filing of TDS & GST returns.
4. Reconciling the ledger account balances and liaise with the vendors.
5. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
6. Adhering to regulatory and statutory compliance of SEBI/RBI and other regulatory bodies
7. Manage financial systems and budgets
8. Liaise with internal and external auditors (where applicable) and deal with any financial irregularities as they arise.
9. Files tax documents by preparing tax returns.
10. Recommends tax strategies by researching tax issues.
11. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.

Skills:

1. College Degree: Accounting, Finance or Business and Administration.
2. Immediate Joiner
3. Strong written and verbal skills
4. Adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
5. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Areas of Knowledge: Auditing, General Accounting and Finance
