AI/LLM Automation Intern (Fall 2025)

Please note: This is an in-person role located in Chicago. We are not considering remote candidates for this position.
We are seeking a highly motivated AI/LLM Automation Intern for Fall 2025 to join our Business Operations team. This role will focus on identifying, developing, and implementing AI-powered solutions to automate manual workflows across the firm. This role will work closely with a dedicated Business Operations team member to identify high-impact automation opportunities and rapidly prototype solutions that enhance productivity & operational efficiency.
Technical Experience
- Strong programming proficiency in Python, with experience in AI/ML libraries
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, etc) and prompt engineering
- Knowledge of automation frameworks and workflow orchestration tools
- Experience with data processing, API integration and web scraping
Candidate Qualities
- Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related quantitative field
- Previous internship or project experience in AI/LLM companies or financial services/fintech
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Strong project management capabilities and ability to prioritize multiple initiatives
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
