What we’re looking for:

 

We are seeking an experienced, self-starting, and biased-towards-action Project Manager to become a key player for the team. This individual will identify and run cross-team initiatives, and provide critical insights that will drive the strategic performance of the operating unit. The Program Manager will work closely with every function of the Company including Sales, Product, Analytics, and Finance, among others.  The ideal candidate is both a competent doer and a regimented taskmaster with a high capacity for growth and an ability to adapt and move fast.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Leading a team of 7-12 team members working on Core Java
  • Planning, Monitoring/Tracking, and Reporting of the team’s daily, monthly, and yearly progress
  • Assign and oversee the daily tasks of the team while ensuring all subordinates are actively working towards established SLAs and business goals
  • Evaluating team’s performance and Handling their Performance Management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical roadblocks and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Identify opportunities for areas of improvement in the products or services impacting customer deliveries with technical solutions to solve
  • Work with business teams to provide end-to-end solutions
  • Implement best practices and processes
  • Establish and implement training processes and strategies across the team
  • Identify opportunities for improving the products or services

Must-haves:

  • Should have managed a team of 5+ members and willingness to handle larger teams
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Hands-on experience in coding with willingness to handle technical and business problems along with the team
  • Strong in Core Java or .Net with Unix/Linux, (OOPS, Design patterns, Data structures)
  • Must have managed projects end to end following waterfall or agile methodologies. Knowledge of agile and kanban is a must
  • Having handled multiple daily work streams by the team
  • Should have knowledge of project management fundamentals to track and showcase consistent improvement
  • Good understanding of the business domain and products
  • Understanding end-to-end business problems and translating them into technical solutions
  • Data-driven decision making
  • Extensive experience in software product/service engineering, maintenance, deployment, and integration
  • Good academic qualifications
