What we’re looking for
A Developer with solid experience in automation and UiPath for process automation in Arcadia. The ideal candidate is a low-ego team player who approaches engineering problems and potential solutions with a unique, holistic, and long-term perspective and is genuinely excited to build the software expanding renewable energy access to millions of households across the country. We're looking for an inquisitive problem-solver who possesses both grit and flexibility in the face of a rapidly changing regulatory landscape -- our work often involves implementing unconventional solutions and requires someone who’s not afraid to explore new domains when previous methods fail, sort through minute details, or find non-engineering ways around a problem. This person must be comfortable with iterating towards a solution and collaborating closely with colleagues in Product, Design, Marketing, and Analytics along the way.
This role is based out of Chennai, India with a hybrid approach and is an exceptional opportunity for someone who relishes the chance to engage with cutting-edge technology, influence how our team builds and stays relevant, and work in a fast-paced environment with engineers on a high-morale, tightly knit team. What you'll do:
- Work with SMEs to identify the right automation opportunities
- Perform high level and low level design
- Perform POC, develop the automation scripts, review the code and resolve any quality issues
- Write appropriate test cases including edge cases
- Work with business users on requirements and User Acceptance Testing
- Engage effectively in Agile ceremonies
- Create reusable frameworks and accelerators
- Work with the infra team for deployment and monitoring
What will help you succeed:
Must-haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in programming, design and architecture
- 2+ years of experience in RPA with 1+ years in UiPath
- Experience in Python, VB, SQL and other scripting languages
- Should possess good analytical skills to analyze information/data to maximize efficiency
- Good Problem Solving skills to predict any foreseen circumstances and solving any unexpected hiccups on the way
- Should have good Communication Skills to interact with other teams - Must be outspoken, confident, and welcoming and giving out new ideas
- Programming Language- C++, Java, python etc
- Experience in development and configuration management tools
- Should be outcome-driven
- Good communication skills to interact with multiple stakeholders as part of automation projects
