What we’re looking for:

We are seeking an innovative and accomplished Senior Manager of Solutions Delivery to lead efforts across a talented global team in designing and delivering impactful technical solutions for our commercial customers. This role blends technical acumen, leadership, and project management expertise to oversee a diverse portfolio of complex projects, ensuring profitability, customer satisfaction, and long-term success.

The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of the energy industry, expertise in API-based integrations and data analytics, and a demonstrated ability to lead teams while collaborating effectively across departments. Success in this role requires an exceptional ability to understand customer business needs, craft solutions that deliver measurable value, and communicate confidently with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.

You will work closely with Commercial Sales, Account Management, Solutions Engineering, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to align multi-faceted solutions to business goals. You will also play a key client-facing role in developing scoping documentation and navigating client requirements, communicating project progress, and delivering results directly to an array of client stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:

Project Management across Global Services Teams

  • Collaborate with our technical sales team on solution design, project, and workstream scoping, and project feasibility assessments in support of pre-sales activities 
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Customers and delivery execution, developing and executing project plans to ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, communications objectives, and quality standards
  • Oversee and coordinate project workstreams across cross-functional delivery teams, including offshore and third party partner resources, ensure global alignment and progress across time zones
  • Indirectly lead supporting technical and operational contributors, from scoping and planning to execution and delivery

Ensure Portfolio Profitability & Customer Success

  • Assess and balance project workstreams and requirements with team and organizational capacity to maximize impact
  • Monitor project profitability across the Professional Services portfolio, identifying areas for improvement, delivery risks, and schedule risks 
  • Support go-to-market initiatives by identifying opportunities to increase revenue and customer satisfaction

Promote Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to integrate solutions with broader company strategies
  • Align delivery efforts with the company’s technical and commercial goals

Champion Continuous Improvement

  • Leverage analytical insights and industry trends to refine solutions delivery practices and processes
  • Optimize resource allocation and project execution strategies to enhance team and customer success

 

What Will Help You Succeed

Leadership and Strategic Vision

  • Proven track record of leading diverse teams across technical functions and managing cross-functional projects
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align team efforts with organizational objectives

Technical Expertise and Industry Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of utility tariffs, energy markets, energy management calculations, distributed energy resources, and retail energy, and utility bill management
  • Understanding of economic and business drivers in the energy management fields and the ability to apply those drivers against customer business requirements
  • Experience with API integrations, Python scripting, SQL programming, and database development

Project Management Mastery

  • Expertise in managing complex, technical projects with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes
  • Proficiency in project management principles and tools (PMP certification is a plus)

Analytical and Communication Skills

  • Strong ability to analyze data, provide actionable insights, and present findings effectively
  • Persuasive communication and negotiation skills to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience engaging with VP+ and C-suite business executives through project or technical consulting

Resiliency and adaptability

  • Resilient leader who embraces change - comfortable navigating customer pivots, changing requirements, and evolving market conditions while maintaining focus and communication on key deliverables
  • Highly adaptable "figure-it-out" mentality - excited by the challenge of building solutions in uncharted territory, rapidly iterating based on customer feedback, and wearing multiple hats as we deliver valuable solutions in the evolving energy landscape

Location

  • This position will require flexibility to work outside of standard business hours to accommodate global collaboration. Candidates must be comfortable working across multiple time zones, with a focus/preference working on Eastern Standard Time (EST) for key meetings

The Target Base Annual Compensation Range for this role will be $95,600 - $191,000, and the salary will be based on experience and the candidate’s location. This position will be eligible for an annual incentive with a target of $20,000. There will also be a competitive benefits and equity component to the package. The exact compensation at which this job is filled will be determined by the skills, experience, and location of the qualified candidate.
