What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a seasoned Product Operations Senior Manager to partner with Product leadership and executive teams, driving the end-to-end product release lifecycle, from strategic planning and development through complex deployment, and commercial launch. The individual will also take a lead role in post-acquisition technology integrations for past and future acquisitions. This pivotal role demands a sophisticated blend of technical acumen, operational expertise, and strategic thinking to ensure the seamless execution of our product strategy. You will spearhead cross-functional collaboration with product management, product marketing, engineering, customer operations to ensure organizational growth, product success, operational efficiency, and a unified product portfolio.

Additionally, we are seeking candidates located in the DC area who can come to our offices to collaborate with Arcadia leaders three times per week. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Product Lifecycle Management: Strategically program manage the entire lifecycle of software products, including long-range planning, advanced development, complex deployments, major launches, and comprehensive post-launch and integration support. Ensure that processes and plans are meticulously executed to enable the delivery of high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Product Launch Program Leadership: Lead and program manage critical product launches that span multiple R&D teams with complex product roadmap timelines. 
  • Advanced Process Optimization & Scalability: Identify, design, and implement sophisticated process improvements to significantly enhance operational efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability, especially in the context of integrating new product lines or organizations. Develop and champion best practices for enterprise-level software product operations.
  • Technology Integration Leadership: Drive advanced collaboration with product managers, product marketing, engineers, M&A integration teams, and other senior stakeholders to align timelines, resources, and reporting for critical technology integration initiatives, for previous and future M&A. Program manage execution against complex product releases, including those resulting from acquisitions. Facilitate high-level communication and coordination among diverse teams to proactively resolve release and integration issues and drive overall product success.
  • Executive Reporting & Operational Metrics: Develop and manage end-to-end executive-level reporting for progress on the product roadmap, including strategic roadmap plans, detailed statuses of in-flight features, critical blockers/dependencies, and high-level risks. Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product roadmap delivery spanning initiatives for new products, tech debt, and technology integration. Analyze data to identify trends, inform strategic decisions, and drive continuous improvement across the product organization.
  • Best Practice Governance & Quality Assurance: Establish, manage, and track adherence to leadership-defined processes and best practices across the product organization, including newly integrated teams. Work closely with teams and individuals to ensure compliance and excellence, escalating as necessary to ensure ultimate quality and timely delivery, particularly during periods of rapid growth and integration.

R&D Organizational Improvement Leadership: Champion and drive R&D organizational initiatives that help the organization function more effectively, with better culture, and more efficiently (e.g., AI adoption, cross-product collaboration norms, code quality standards implementation)

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; preference may be given to advanced degrees such as MBA.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in senior enterprise software / B2B SaaS roles in project/program management or product operations, with a proven track record of managing complex, enterprise-level software products and processes in a high-growth environment.
  • 2+ years of product management experience in software products - either directly in product management or similar experiences with the ability to demonstrate/show that work
  • Demonstrated experience with complex technology integration, including product portfolio consolidation, operational alignment, and legacy technology transformation.
  • Deep familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies at scale.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically, strategically, and holistically across an organization.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex cross-functional initiatives and collaborate effectively with diverse senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Superior analytical skills and extensive experience with data-driven decision-making, including executive-level reporting and KPI definition.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both written and verbal, capable of influencing at all organizational levels.
  • Expert proficiency in enterprise project and program management tools and software (preference to those with JIRA mastery)
  • Extensive experience with incident management, operational excellence frameworks, and driving continuous improvement in product organizations.

The Target Base Annual Compensation Range for this role will be $170,000 - $210,000, and the salary will be based on experience and the candidate’s location. There will also be a competitive benefits and equity component to the package. The exact compensation at which this job is filled will be determined by the skills, experience, and location of the qualified candidate.
