Social Media Manager (Future Society)

We are seeking a Social Media Manager to lead and manage our Future Society Social Media Accounts. Our goal is to make biology the most desired technology in the products we use and this person will be critical for creating social media strategy and content creation while driving awareness, engagement and follower growth for our brand. This role will work in close partnership with influencer marketing, brand, digital marketing and the creative team. This individual will be trend and data driven, driving key brand awareness objectives for the business. The ideal candidate will bring excitement and passion for creating brand awareness and building a community.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Create and execute social media content strategy, campaigns, and partnerships across all social channels
  • Develop content calendars for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, with continuous posting, conversation in order to grow social media community
  • Create trending content, organize events and photo shoots to develop more/new/innovative content for our social pages
  • Develop strategies to support product launches and animations to increase conversions and buzz around the content calendar and brand stories
  • Collaborate with Digital and Creative for content and development that align with overall brand identity, goals, and budget
  • Collaborate with the Influencer Marketing team and help drive influencer strategy, brand partnerships/collaborations, including campaigns and content needs for increase brand awareness, channel growth, and engagement
  • Measure and analyze the impact of social media initiatives (Owned, Earned & Paid) on various KPIs, including channel growth, impressions, engagements, referral traffic, and conversions
  • Manage advocacy strategy for UGC growth and quality across all social and digital channels
  • Monitor and respond to public inquiries/comments across all social digital platforms 
  • Establish best practices for optimizing content (video, imagery, GIF, etc) across channels
  • Bring forth ideas to stay competitive in the social universe
  • Identify and propose new initiatives in support of key brand moments, events, and milestones
  • Deliver weekly & monthly performance reports

 

WHAT WE SEEK: 

  • Bachelor’s degree Marketing, Advertising, Communication or related discipline
  • 3-5 years of online marketing experience in social media and social content creation
  • Passionate about all things social media and experience with content creation
  • Proven history developing and managing strategies and campaigns to grow social media audiences, engagement, and sales
  • Experience managing brand social media accounts
  • Experience using social media analytics tools
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Exceptional eye for visuals and social content relevant to a brand
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Comfortable with ad hoc requests related to the marketing team

The full compensation package is based on candidate experience. 

Pay Range

$80,000 - $100,000 USD
