We are seeking an experienced Director, Ecommerce who has a proven track record of driving revenue growth, managing all e-commerce channels, and delivering outstanding results. This role will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of our e-commerce business, optimizing P&L performance, and driving net revenue targets.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop and implement a cohesive e-commerce strategy that ensures a unified brand presence across all consumer channels
  • Create digital product launches and develop integrated marketing solutions across CRM, mobile, and social platforms to effectively engage target consumers
  • Design and execute innovative digital marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive site traffic, conversions, and revenue
  • Implement and oversee a robust retention strategy across paid and owned channels, including customer experience, personalization, automation, and loyalty 
  • Build strong relationships with key retail partners and e-commerce platforms to enhance sales performance and ensure optimal product visibility
  • Manage editorial/marketing calendar and media agencies, ensuring launches meet the requirements of overarching brand goals and market needs to drive growth
  • Identify new market opportunities and emerging trends to stay ahead of the competition and drive innovation
  • Develop and implement effective pricing strategies, promotions, and discount policies to maximize revenue and profit margins
  • Monitor site performance across various platforms, browsers, and ISPs to ensure optimal functionality and user experience 
  • Keep stakeholders informed of project progress, manage risks, and facilitate collaborative problem-solving
  • Provide regular updates on e-commerce performance, highlighting goal achievement, sales impact, and actionable recommendations for future improvements

 

WHAT WE SEEK: 

  • 10+ years of experience leading digital marketing and e-commerce efforts, preferably in the beauty or personal care industry
  • Desire to drive high impact results at a fast-growing start up
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, market dynamics, and consumer behavior
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Passion for beauty, personal care, and / or disruptive consumer categories, with a keen eye for creativity and aesthetics
  • Possess a data-driven mindset with proven experience utilizing metrics and insights as tools for informed decision-making
  • Project management skills; can push projects over the finish line with sound planning and persistent execution; understands how to collaboratively align resources, seeks the input of key constituents, and manages others to achieve desired results.
  • High emotional intelligence and self-awareness, which encourages positive energy, kindness, and passion throughout the organization

The full compensation package is based on candidate experience. 

Pay Range

$160,000 - $180,000 USD
