How You’ll Make a Difference

As our Associate Director, Alliance Management, you’ll play a critical role in managing and driving the success of our strategic partnerships. Working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, you’ll ensure we are optimizing our current and future alliances. Our partnerships are critical to the successful development and manufacture of our lead product candidate, and your work will play an important role in getting our potentially life-saving drug approved and available to patients who need it most.

The “Fine Print” – What You’ll Do

  • Manage our strategic alliances, serving as the main point of contact for our partners.
  • Work closely with executive leadership to define and attain the objectives of our alliances.
  • Implement appropriate process to enable effective communication and decision-making between Arcellx and our partners.
  • Work with internal and external project teams to drive alignment and understanding of both parties’ interests, build trust between groups, and execute the obligations of the agreement.
  • Cultivate a partnership mindset internally.
  • Collaborate with and support internal teams to drive activities and ensure understanding of contractual commitments and key partnership deliverables.
  • Proactively identify and manage collaboration risks.
  • Manage and execute governance committee meetings with strategic partners.
  • Effectively track progress of contractual obligations.
  • Lead contract negotiations with existing partners.

Skills and Experience We Look For  

  • 7+ years of relevant experience at a biotech. Candidates with more experience may be considered at the director level. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, including the ability to influence and align internal and external stakeholders.
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience crafting and presenting recommendations to senior leadership teams.
  • Solution-oriented and creative problem solver.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with deadlines.
  • Ability to take initiative, build productive relationships, work cross-functionally, and manage multiple projects.

 Rewards at Arcellx

Our people are our greatest asset, and supporting their well-being is an essential part of delivering on our mission and impacting the lives of patients. Putting this belief into practice means offering strong compensation and benefits.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $195,000 - $210,000 per year. Where a candidate falls within that range is determined by factors such as years of experience. Our compensation package also includes an annual bonus based on company goals and an equity (RSU) grant. We do offer relocation assistance for roles if required.
