How You’ll Make a Difference
As an intern, your mission is to develop assays and strategies to support the characterization of the manufacture product and the cells generated during process improvements within Arcellx’s Analytical Development group. This role will have a tremendous impact on our pipline and ability to characterize the modified T cells as novel and effective drugs for patients. Our potentially life-saving treatments would not exist without the work of our talented scientists.
The “Fine Print” – What You’ll Do
- Commit to 6-10 weeks, full time (40 hours per week) paid internship. Hourly rate will vary based on role, level of education, qualification and location.
- Program will start at early June (Summer).
- Professional and personal development curriculum throughout the program, including networking opportunities, workshops and panel discussions.
- Final presentations of projects along with other interns at the conclusion of the program
- Thawing, culture primary human T cells and cell line
- Staining, acquisition of cells with flow cytometry
- Analysis of T cells activation markers with FlowJo software
- Utilize software include GraphPad Prism, Word, PowerPoint, Excel to record and present your results
Skills and Experience We Look For
Our ideal candidate has
- Currently enrolled in university pursing an undergraduate or graduate degree in or a recent graduate from the field of Biological/Biomedical sciences
- Knowledge in one of the following areas: Immunology, Cell Biology
- Aseptic technique
- Cell culture, especially mammalian cell culture experience
- Knowledge of flow cytometry
