The Fine Print” – What You’ll Do 

  • Design, generate, and characterize lentiviral vectors for use in cell therapy. 
  • Utilize common software including GraphPad Prism, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and FlowJo to analyze, record, and present your results. 
  • Communicate detailed observations on experiments and assist in the preparation of technical reports, summaries, and protocols. 
  • Work both independently and collaboratively, and effectively plan, organize work activities, and prioritize task completion. 

Skills and Experience: 

  • Undergraduate or Master’s degree-level coursework covering the concepts behind immunotherapy, and cell therapy. 
  • Familiarity with molecular biology methods, including primer design, PCR, gel electrophoresis, plasmid DNA preparation, cloning, and sequence analysis using SnapGene or similar software. 
  • Experience with aseptic cell culture and understanding of DNA transfection, and lentiviral transduction methods. 
  • Preferred knowledge of additional methods including DNA extraction and real-time PCR analysis, flow cytometry, and bioinformatics.  

Our ideal candidate would have an enthusiasm for scientific discovery, interest in biotechnology, knowledge of the field, familiarity with molecular biology and cell culture techniques, be well-organized, work well with a team, and have the initiative to individually drive a project forward.
