What You’ll Do
- Oversee scope, quality, timelines, and budget for an early and/or late-stage clinical trial(s).
- Lead one or more Study Execution Team(s) (SET) to ensure trials are initiated efficiently and completed on time, within budget and in compliance.
- Lead development and review of key clinical documents.
- Provide study-specific training and leadership to clinical research staff.
- Effectively communicate expectations to CRO, ensure appropriate site management and compliance with clinical monitoring plan, hold CRO accountable to timelines, and verify quality metrics.
- Plan and implement quality checks.
- Anticipate obstacles or complex issues at the site, vendor, and study levels, and implements solutions.
- Proactively identify issues for escalation, participate in problem-solving and implementation of risk mitigation.
- Review the quality and integrity of the clinical data through review of electronic CRF data. Work with CRO/sites to resolve data queries.
- Drive and support development of work instructions and SOPs; contribute to Clinical Operations functional initiatives for role clarity and institution of best practices.
Skills and Experience We Look For
- BSc in natural or health sciences (biology, pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, or equivalent).
- 8+ years of clinical operations experience with both early and late-stage oncology clinical trials.
- 2+ years of direct line management experience.
- Strong knowledge of clinical research process, including working knowledge of all functional areas of clinical trials and regulatory requirements; prior inspection readiness experience preferred.
- Exceptional project management skills, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Eager to learn with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to express complex ideas to study personnel at research and clinical institutions.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $190k - $205,000 per year. Where a candidate falls within that range is determined by factors such as years of experience. Our compensation package also includes an annual bonus based on company goals and an equity (RSU) grant. We do offer relocation assistance for roles if required.
