Team Summary

Based out of Hyderabad, the Management Company Accounting (MCA) team is responsible for firm wide financial accounting, financial reporting, regulatory compliance & payroll. We are looking for Payroll professional for our Management Company Accounting group based in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should operate as a subject matter expert continuously looking for improvements in operational processes.

What You'll Do

  • Handle end-to-end bi-weekly US Payroll and work with external and internal consultants on employee tax & compliance matters
  • Manage tax and deductions for all federal, state, local or other taxes that affect payroll
  • Use ADP for payroll processing or any other platform for posting of payroll journal entries
  • Statutory compliances with respect to 401K, Social Security, FICA, FUTA and other related compliances.
  • Adhere to US Payroll Compliance & 401k related compliance
  • Provide assistance with payroll-related inquiries, including paycheck questions, withholding tax issues etc. Troubleshoot possible issues with pay.
  • Preparation and Co-ordination with auditors and ensures smooth completion of audits related to payroll.
  • Work on compensation related reports or any adhoc reports for management
  • Handle employee reimbursements for India and US
  • Work with HR team in the US ensuring timely, accurate payroll processing

What You'll Need

  • The ideal candidate should be graduated or a postgraduate with 4  to 7 years of experience in US payroll processing, sound technical knowledge of payroll taxes and compliance
  • Must have an end-to-end working experience of processing US Payroll
  • Should have worked with external and internal consultants on employee tax & compliance matters
  • Should have experience of working on payroll platform and posting of payroll journal entries
  • A good understanding of US employee tax and with-holding
  • Should be open for a night shift.
  • US Payroll Certification is an added advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with senior personnel
