This opportunity is for a highly experienced professional with Tax Domain Expertise to join as Vice President in the Product Management Group in our Hyderabad office. PMG group is responsible for working with technology teams throughout the product development lifecycle to specify, develop, and implement the firms’ infrastructure, data products, and middle- and back-office applications. The incumbent will be responsible for Tax Module of our Opterra Product Platform. We are seeking a seasoned Tax Domain Expert with extensive experience in taxation of Hedge Funds. In this pivotal role, you will craft the vision and drive the roadmap for this new module of our platform, ensuring they meet both existing client needs and commercial goals. This is a unique opportunity to influence our flagship client offerings and explore new avenues for commercialization.

What you'll do:

• Vision & Strategy: Craft vision and commercial strategy for Tax Module
• Client Engagement: Develop, Own and Execute an engagement and communication strategy for our flagship client
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, test engineering and client relationship teams to align product vision and deliver product roadmap
• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle from ideation through production, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
• Budget Management: Propose, manage, and oversee the R&D budget for Tax Module.
• Roadmap Development: Create, maintain and execute a product roadmap in alignment with the overall product vision, using insights from the Alternative Investment industry and target market segments.
• Team Leadership: This is primarily an individual contributor role.

What you'll need:

• 12+ years of experience, working in Hedge fund taxation
• Product management and leadership experience will be an added advantage
• Domain expertise in US Partnership Tax Compliance and Planning for Hedge Funds.
• Strong understanding of the Alternative Investment industry and related market dynamics.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams Or technology projects will be an advantage
• Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
• An outstanding academic background and a passion to work in a high-tech software development environment
