Senior Product Consultant - Front Office
Company Overview
Arcesium is a global financial technology firm that solves complex data-driven challenges faced by some of the world’s most sophisticated financial institutions. We constantly innovate our platform and capabilities to meet tomorrow’s challenges, anticipate the risks our clients encounter, and design advanced solutions to help our clients achieve transformational business outcomes.
Financial technology is a high-growth industry as change and innovation continue to disrupt the status-quo and prompt major transformation. Arcesium is at a particularly interesting time in our own growth as we look to leverage our successfully established market position and expand operations in pursuit of strategic new business opportunities. We value intellectual curiosity, proactive ownership, and collaboration with colleagues, and we empower you to meaningfully contribute from day one and accelerate your professional development.
Team Summary
The Product Consulting Group (PCG) is the first point of contact for clients, providing day-to-day support for the Arcesium platform and resolving workflow-related issues. This role sits within the Front Office division (Limina), Arcesium’s cloud-native P/OMS for investment managers. You will be a primary support contact for Limina’s global client base of asset managers and hedge funds, working Nordic-region office hours and helping front-office users get the most out of the platform across the pre-trade, trade, and post-trade workflow.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone equally comfortable in the mechanics of portfolio and order management and in a direct conversation with a portfolio manager. The role is based in our central Stockholm office (hybrid).
What You’ll Do
- Provide expert support across the front-office workflow: portfolio management, order and execution management (OMS), pre- and post-trade compliance, position keeping / IBOR, trade capture, and the data flow into middle/back-office and EDM.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for a broad set of asset classes including equities, fixed income, FX, listed and OTC derivatives, and funds.
- Assess issue criticality, coordinate root-cause analysis with Product and R&D, and drive timely resolution; escalate complex matters appropriately.
- Partner with Product Management and Forward Deployed teams to onboard new clients and funds smoothly, from implementation through to steady-state operations.
- Deliver client training and keep training materials and documentation current as the platform evolves.
- Maintain a knowledge base of recurring issues and best practices to improve operational efficiency and enable client self-service.
- Capture and analyse client inquiries to surface patterns, and feed structured client feedback into the product roadmap.
- Provide first-level escalation ownership for client issues, including criticality assessment and stakeholder communication.
- Act as the primary point of contact for designated Limina clients, owning query resolution and maintaining high client satisfaction.
You’ll support clients globally, working primarily Nordic-region office hours. As we build out our global coverage model, there will be an occasional expectation to provide support on Swedish public holidays - most relevant in the first one to two years of the role.
What You’ll Need
- This is likely your second or third role, ideally after a stint at another buy-side software vendor or on the buy-side itself (an asset manager, hedge fund, or similar). At Arcesium, we put more emphasis on aptitude and trajectory, than years.
- Some exposure across asset classes, for example equities, fixed income, FX, OTC and swaps, and a real appetite to go deep on front-office workflows (portfolio management, order management, pre-trade compliance). You don’t need to know all of it on day one; you do need to want to learn it fast.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to prioritise across multiple client engagements based on urgency and impact, under deadline pressure.
- High personal maturity, collaborative attitude, and commitment to teamwork in a global, client-focused environment.
- Fluency in English required (the working language with clients and across Arcesium); Swedish an advantage given the Stockholm base and team.
- Bonus: proven client management: building trusted relationships, managing expectations, and delivering a positive client experience with C-suite through to operations staff.
- Valid permit to work in Sweden.
Why Join
- Our users are professional portfolio managers, traders, and operations leads at demanding buy-side firms, and reach out to PCG with challenges they couldn’t solve themselves. That makes this one of the fastest ways to learn both how the buy-side actually works and how complex investment software is built, supported, and improved.
- Deep, hands-on exposure to how complex investment software is built and run alongside Product and R&D which is based out of the same office in Stockholm.
- Chance to be an early member of the dedicated and growing PCG for Limina team, with the opportunity to make a real impact and grow internally.
- Work on a modern, open, cloud-native platform with the collaboration and humility of the team Limina was built on.
- Flexible hybrid working and a modern office in central Stockholm, with a global platform and client base behind you.
