Engineering Product Specialist
Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. What You’ll Do:
- Create/process NPI related ECO's and sustaining ECO's that affect part numbering changes throughout the lifecycle of the products.
- Oversee component material availability to ensure we are clear to build (CTB) for all builds.
- Work with Engineering to structure BOMs (Bill of Materials) for proto-types and production
- Work with contract manufacturers and supplier teams to drive factory data and accuracy.
- Assist in material availability status reports/communications and escalations when needed.
- Supervise material logistics for new product development builds.
- Generate Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders.
- Communicate with contract manufacturing finance teams, and conduct invoice reviews.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
What You Need:
- Experience running, organizing, and maintaining large quantities of data
- Detail oriented and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Proficient in MS Excel and/or Mac OS Numbers
- Experience with PLM tools, Team Center experience preferred but not required.
- Able to execute multiple project timelines related to suppliers on time delivery performance throughout the development cycle
- Experience in new product introduction (NPI) materials planning
- Understand bill of material (BOM) structuring and change control concepts
- Familiarity with hardware development and manufacturing processes
- Experience working with overseas based suppliers
- Flexibility to work swing shifts to support remote builds
- BA/BS degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations or Business, or 3 years of industry experience

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
