Location: Remote
Pay: $20-$25 per hour
Position Summary
The Commercial Lines Service Representative provides administrative and service support for commercial insurance accounts, with a primary focus on document management, certificates of insurance (COIs), and policy documentation. This role supports Account Managers and Producers by ensuring accurate records, timely processing of requests, and organized policy documentation.
This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who is interested in building a career in the insurance industry. While an active Texas Property & Casualty license is not required at the time of hire, the selected candidate will be expected to obtain their license within 3–6 months of employment with company support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for lenders, vendors, and contractual requests
- Review insurance requirements and ensure certificates are issued accurately and in accordance with policy terms
- Maintain and organize commercial insurance policy documents, certificates, and client records
- Enter and update policy information in the agency management system
- Assist Account Managers with administrative servicing of commercial accounts
- Request policy changes, endorsements, audits, and loss runs from carriers as directed
- Organize policy documentation and exposure information for account renewals
- Respond to routine inquiries from clients, lenders, and internal team members in a professional and timely manner
- Review documents for accuracy and escalate questions or discrepancies to the Account Manager
- Maintain organized digital files in accordance with agency procedures and compliance standards
- Follow established workflows and service timelines to support the commercial lines team
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior administrative, customer service, or office support experience preferred
- Experience in insurance, property management, or financial services is a plus but not required
- Ability and willingness to obtain a Texas General Lines Property & Casualty License within 3–6 months of hire
