Electrical Foreman
About You:
PureGrid Electrical executes industrial electrical work on active projects across the country and depends on field leaders who can coordinate crews, plan ahead, maintain safety, and drive production in partnership with project leadership.
PureGrid is looking for a Foreman who is directly responsible for leading and working alongside a field crew made up of journeymen and helpers. This person is responsible for planning the work, making sure materials and information are ready ahead of time, coordinating with leadership, and owning production, quality, and crew performance on site.
A Day in the Life:
- Lead and work alongside a crew of journeymen and helpers.
- Lay out work and make sure materials, tools, equipment, and information are in place ahead of time.
- Coordinate crew scheduling with the Project Manager and/or General Superintendent.
- Take ownership of production, QA/QC, and crew scheduling on smaller projects.
- Complete required paperwork and coding.
- Initiate and monitor the safety program in the field.
- Coordinate with other trades, prepare detail drawings, and communicate directly with the General Contractor and inspections as required.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Current electrical license.
- OSHA 30 minimum.
- Six or more years of previous commercial/industrial electrical experience.
- High level of planning, organization, and field leadership ability.
- Demonstrated responsibility for production, QA/QC, safety, and scheduling.
- Efficient knowledge of all scopes of construction and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders on site.
