coordination with internal and external project partners, and providing technical support
throughout procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.

The ideal candidate is a technically strong, collaborative engineer who can translate
project requirements into coordinated, constructible electrical systems while maintaining
a high standard for safety, quality, schedule, and cost.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

    distribution systems.
  • Prepare and review one-line diagrams, electrical schematics, equipment
schedules, load summaries, feeder schedules, and design narratives.
  • Support the design of utility services, substations, transformers, switchgear,
generators, UPS systems, automatic transfer equipment, distribution equipment,
    grounding, and emergency power systems.
  • Perform or coordinate load-flow, short-circuit, protective-device coordination, arcflash,
    voltage-drop, and equipment-sizing studies.
  • Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, mechanical, controls,
fire protection, civil, and construction teams.
  • Participate in BIM coordination, design reviews, constructability reviews, and
    interdisciplinary page turns.
  • Review vendor submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, equipment data, and proposed
design changes for technical compliance and constructability.
  • Collaborate with procurement and project teams on long-lead electrical
equipment, technical evaluations, and supplier coordination.
Provide field engineering support during installation, startup, testing, and
    commissioning.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, punch-list resolution, functional performance testing,
    and turnover documentation.
  • Apply applicable requirements from the NEC, NFPA standards, IEEE standards,
    local codes, and project specifications.
  • Communicate technical decisions, risks, and action items clearly to project
    stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement of design standards, templates, checklists, and
    engineering workflows.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 3–8 years of electrical engineering experience; mission-critical, data
center, industrial, utility, or high-reliability facility experience is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of medium-voltage and low-voltage electrical distribution
    systems and emergency power systems.
  • Experience interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, equipment data, and
    technical studies.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit; experience with ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, or
    similar analysis software is preferred.
  • Understanding of electrical construction methods, equipment procurement,
    commissioning, and field coordination.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

  • Opportunity to work on high-visibility mission-critical and energy projects.
  • Collaborative, design-build environment with direct exposure to engineering,
