About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data QA Analyst to join our growing team. At Arena Club, our users rely on transparent, real-time data to trade, buy, and showcase their "grails." In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our behavioral data—specifically within Mixpanel—is 100% accurate.You will dive deep into manual testing to verify that every user action on our web and mobile platforms is captured correctly. This isn't just about finding bugs; it’s about ensuring the integrity of the data that powers our marketplace and product strategy.

What You Will Do

• Execute Manual Event Testing: Perform end-to-end manual validation of event tracking across our web and mobile applications to ensure Mixpanel events trigger exactly as defined.
• Audit Data Integrity: Conduct regular audits of our Mixpanel Lexicon to ensure property names, data types, and formatting remain consistent with our tracking plan.
• Troubleshoot Discrepancies: Act as a data detective to identify why specific events are missing or firing incorrectly, using tools like Chrome DevTools and proxy debuggers.
• Maintain the Tracking Plan: Partner with Product and Engineering to update our "Source of Truth" documentation (Data Dictionary) as we launch new features like Slab Packs™ or live trading.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the Data and Engineering teams to verify fixes in staging environments before they hit our production showrooms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field (B.E./B.Tech/BCA/BSc)
• 1–3 years of professional experience in QA, Data Analytics, or a Product Support role, with a strong emphasis on data integrity
• Proven hands-on experience navigating Mixpanel (Live View, Lexicon, and Report building)
• Proficiency with Browser Developer Tools (Network tab) and API testing tools like Postman to validate event triggers and JSON payloads
• Solid understanding of SQL basics (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE) to perform cross-verification between frontend events and backend database records
• Familiarity with the STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) and working within Agile/Scrum environments
• An obsessive eye for detail and a "collector’s mindset"—you understand that in a marketplace, trust is built on accurate data
• Certifications (Bonus): ISTQB Foundation Level or similar QA certifications are a plus
• While this role is manual-heavy today, you will have the opportunity to help define our path toward automated data validation as our platform scales
