The Role:

Arine is seeking a multi-platform (MacOS, Windows, and ChromeOS) IT Administrator to support our US operations. As IT Administrator, you will be on the front line of providing internal staff computer support to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.

The Arine office is located in San Francisco, CA  and a strong preference will be given to candidates who can commute and work in the office 1-2 days per week. When working remotely, you must have a high-speed internet service and have a private location to work.

The position will report to the Head of Security and IT Infrastructure. Work hours are generally flexible, however, as IT Administrator you must be able to support core business hours.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Provide onsite and remote support to troubleshoot, repair, and resolve laptop issues for staff
  • Build and configure end-user systems in a Mac, Windows, and ChromeOS environment
  • Work with manufacturers to support and resolve hardware and application issues
  • Be familiar with supporting connected devices and accessories such as keyboards, mice, monitors, and home routers
  • Track and resolve issues using a ticketing system
  • Create and update standard operating procedures and "How-To's" as needed
  • Effectively communicate troubleshooting steps whether communicated over IM, video, and call
  • Manage and support users with Office 365, Google Workspace, and Zoom
  • Maintain high satisfaction ratings among peers
  • Conduct periodic user, group, and access reviews
  • Assist with managing access controls

Who You Are and What You Bring:

  • Minimum of 2 years of desktop support/management
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in a cloud-based environment
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management
  • Understanding of computing hardware technology and their associated operating systems
  • Ability to install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding on how to perform advanced troubleshooting of end-user computing devices, laptops, and network issues
  • Ability to follow documented standard operating procedures
  • Ability to develop standard operating procedures based on policies and changes to the environment
  • Understanding of information security practices and HIPAA
  • Ability to analyze issues, develop plans, and implement their solutions
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write proficiently in the English language. The ability to understand issues over the phone and to clearly communicate instructions and guidance is essential for this position

The posted range represents the expected salary for this position and does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, benefits, and perks. Ultimately, the final pay decision will consider factors such as your experience, job level, location, and other relevant job-related criteria. The salary range for this position is: $75,000-85,000/year.

Information Security Roles and Responsibilities:

All staff at Arine are expected to be part of its Information Security Management Program and undergo periodic training on Information Security Awareness and HIPAA guidelines. Each user is responsible to maintain a secure working environment and follow all policies and procedures. Upon hire, each person is assigned and must complete trainings before access is granted for their specific role within Arine.
