We are seeking an accomplished AI Director to spearhead our efforts in cutting-edge AI technologies and solutions. This role will collaborate in shaping the technical strategy, delivering innovative GenAI-driven solutions for our customers, and mentoring our always growing AI team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, leadership skills, and a passion for advancing the capabilities of Generative AI across industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define solutions leveraging Generative AI technologies such as LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Visual Language Models (VLMs), and advanced prompt engineering.
• Provide technical guidance during presales processes, including solution design, delivery team composition, and estimation of timelines.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during client engagements, offering insights and expertise during technical spikes and discussions.

• Lead and coordinate presales efforts, ensuring the delivery of timely, high-quality technical proposals.
• Align technical goals with business objectives by fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams.

• Participate in Research and Development (R&D) initiatives, exploring emerging capabilities in Generative AI and integrating them into innovative solutions.
• Mentor and support team members during technical discussions to grow the GenAI vertical’s expertise.

• Conduct interviews and assess candidates to expand the AI team.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies for scaling technical capabilities and growing the AI Labs team.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Deep technical expertise in LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, Visual Language Models (VLMs), and prompt engineering using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and LlamaIndex.
• Past or current hands-on experience with industry-leading APIs, both proprietary (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) and open-source (e.g., Hugging Face).
• Strong proficiency in Python; experience with frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow is a plus.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for AI/ML deployments.
• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering; MSc or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
• 8+ years of experience in machine learning and AI across multiple verticals, with at least 2 years in industry-focused Generative AI.
• Proficiency in additional ML areas, such as Computer Vision, predictive modeling, time series analysis, and NLP.
• Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. (C1 or above).
• Demonstrated experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in client-facing roles.
