Reports and Assessments Staff Officer I - HUMINT & Sensitive Activities Directorate
Position Overview
The Reports and Assessments Staff Officer I will support the HUMINT & Sensitive Activities Directorate within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (OUSD(I&S)). This role involves preparing and staffing reports, analyzing data, and supporting the coordination of sensitive activities.

Job Responsibilities and/or Success Factors
· Report Preparation and Staffing:
· Prepare and staff DoD quarterly reports and briefings on sensitive activities to Congress and Executive Branch Senior Leaders. This includes tasks such as collection, compiling, editing, review, approval, production, and delivery of the quarterly report and briefing.
· Meeting Coordination:
· Coordinate, convene, and facilitate meetings, working groups, and the Sensitive Activities Executive Council (SA-EXCON) by preparing and disseminating agendas, read-ahead material, attendee rosters, and meeting minutes.
· Data Analysis and Visualization:
· Analyze and evaluate large data sets and develop data analytics and data visualization tools to identify trends, anomalies, and provide data-informed assessments and decision-making support.
· Dashboard Development:
· Develop, update, and maintain general and specialized data-analytic dashboards using tools like Kibana to interpret historical data, predict future performance, and drive executive-level decision-making.
· Methodology Identification:
· Identify methodologies and statistical methods to find patterns and relationships in large volumes of government-classified structured and unstructured data sets.
· Support and Collaboration:
· Support government-led production of analysis, assessments, reporting, and briefings for specific activities, enabling data-informed oversight and decision support for senior DoD and Executive Branch officials, and Congressional Staff members.
· Strategy and Policy Support:
· Support the development, review, revision, and oversight of strategy, policy, and legislation related to DoD sensitive activities.
· Maintain historical record files related to sensitive activities reporting and related legislation.
Education and Minimum Qualifications
· Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI Clearance.
· Associate Degree is required.
· Minimum of 1 year of experience producing reports and briefings in DoD or the Intelligence Community (IC).
· Minimum of 1 year of experience using data analysis tools to produce reports.
· Minimum of 1 year of experience preparing reports for Congressional briefings.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a high-stakes environment and manage multiple priorities
