Position Description:
Arlo Solutions is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in identifying and securing new business opportunities within the federal contracting space, with a particular focus on cybersecurity, program management, and intelligence services within the Department of Defense. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth by developing strategic partnerships, expanding our client base, and enhancing our market presence.
Responsibilities and/or Success Factors:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and competitive landscape in the federal cybersecurity sector. Identify and qualify new business opportunities that align with Arlo Solutions’ strategic objectives, focusing on federal contracts and cybersecurity initiatives, maintaining a pipeline of $200,000,000 over three years.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and aligning them with our service offerings.
- Collaborate with Capture Managers and Proposal Teams to ensure alignment of business development activities with proposal strategies and to support the development of winning proposals through obtaining information to inform an opportunity overviews, customer analyses, competitive analyses, win strategy, and risk mitigation.
- Expand Arlo’s support as a subcontractor by identifying potential prime partners that complement Arlo’s capabilities and securing teaming agreements.
- Represent Arlo Solutions at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Work closely with internal teams, including capture management, marketing, and technical experts, to ensure a cohesive approach to business development.
Minimum Qualifications, Including Certificates:
- Established relationship with Government customers
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of federal contracting processes and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
