We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer - Azure Stack to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of hybrid cloud solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure Stack. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, hybrid cloud integration, and Microsoft technologies, with a strong background in enterprise IT environments.
Location. This role is office-based at our Trivandrum, Kerala office.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure Stack environments to support hybrid cloud initiatives.
- Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure seamless integration between Azure public cloud and on-premises Azure Stack.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and management using tools such as ARM templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize environments for cost and performance.
- Provide guidance on best practices for Azure Stack architecture, governance, and security.
- Stay updated with the latest Azure and Azure Stack developments and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Document solutions, configurations, and procedures for internal knowledge sharing.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in cloud projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Azure and Azure Stack.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity management, and security in Azure environments.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, Terraform preferred).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware) and Windows/Linux server administration.
- Knowledge of Azure services including Azure AD, VNet, Storage, Azure Monitor, and Security Center.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Stack Hub Operator Associate.
- Experience with hybrid identity and networking solutions.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements for cloud environments.
