We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Lead to manage, optimize, and scale our infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will drive automation, enforce best practices, and collaborate across development, QA, and operations teams to ensure high system reliability, performance, and scalability.
Location. This role is office-based at our Bellevue, Washington office.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable and secure infrastructure (cloud and on-premise).
- Drive DevOps strategy, tooling, and automation across development, testing, and production environments.
- Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Monitor systems performance, availability, and reliability; implement observability best practices (metrics, logs, alerts).
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline deployment processes.
- Maintain and enforce infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for system outages or degradation.
- Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers and support cross-functional teams.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new tools and technologies to improve system efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure security best practices are enforced across infrastructure and CI/CD workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, System Administration, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or team lead role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
- Expertise in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Familiarity with GitOps and modern DevSecOps practices.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified in AWS/GCP/Azure DevOps or Architecture roles.
- Experience in cost optimization and scaling in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of database administration (SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

For U.S. Based candidates: To ensure fairness and transparency, the starting base salary range for this role for candidates in the U.S. are listed below, varying based on location experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, this role will also be offered equity and subsidized benefits (details available upon request).

Compensation
$180,000 - $225,000 USD
