About the Role

Armada is seeking a Contractor – Technical Sourcer to join our Talent Acquisition team and drive technical hiring for our R&D engineering organization. This role blends strategic stakeholder partnership with hands-on sourcing execution and onsite recruitment coordination. As a contractor, you’ll spend 3 days per week onsite in Bellevue, working closely with engineers, hiring managers, and candidates, and hybrid the other 2 days a week. You’ll have a direct impact on scaling our R&D team while ensuring a seamless candidate experience.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Strategic Sourcing & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Independently manage stakeholder expectations for top-of-funnel initiatives across Engineering, Security, IT, and ML engineering.
  • Partner with executives, hiring managers, and recruiters to deeply understand role requirements, team dynamics, and current/future hiring priorities.
  • Act as a thought partner to hiring teams, offering talent market insights, funnel data, and sourcing best practices.
  • Design and execute strategic sourcing plans to map talent and drive top-of-funnel activity. Stay current on talent market trends, competitor intelligence, and industry best practices.

Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Development

  • Design and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates through platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, referrals, professional networks, and more.
  • Utilize Boolean searches, X-ray searches, and advanced sourcing techniques to uncover qualified technical talent.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill engineering roles.
  • Engage with prospects through personalized outreach and compelling messaging that reflects Armada’s brand.
  • Manage candidate outreach, tracking, and engagement using ATS and CRM tools.
  • Screen candidates for qualifications, interest, and cultural alignment before moving them forward.

Candidate Experience & Onsite Coordination

  • Own the candidate journey from first engagement through onsite interview loop, ensuring an exceptional experience and fast turnaround.
  • Greet and host candidates onsite, creating a polished and welcoming environment.
  • Manage interview day logistics including scheduling, room readiness, candidate flow, and interviewer preparation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time to deliver a smooth candidate experience.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador of Armada’s R&D organization to all candidates.
  • Assist with high-demand scheduling requests, stepping in to support recruiters and hiring teams when workload spikes.
  • Serve as a backup for Recruiting Coordinators during absences, ensuring continuity in candidate support.
  • Support Recruiting Operations projects, including system optimization, process audits, and workflow improvements.

We’re Seeking

  • 3–5 years of progressive recruiting or technical sourcing experience in high-growth, premier tech environments.
  • Proven success hiring in niche and competitive technical markets.
  • Hands-on expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Boolean/X-ray search, ATS platforms, and sourcing campaigns.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with engineers, recruiters, and executives.
  • Clear, compelling written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to balance strategic sourcing with real-time onsite coordination.
  • Comfortable being onsite in Bellevue 3 days/week.
