About the Role  

As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will create intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling user interfaces and experiences across Armada’s digital products. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to design and deliver user-centered solutions that balance functionality and visual quality. 

This role is primarily responsible for the Armada website and the evolution of our Growth products, shaping how users find, explore, and engage with Armada. You will own the end-to-end creation of high impact digital experiences that translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible narratives. Your work will enable customers, partners, and prospects to quickly understand Armada’s value, regardless of technical background, and help deliver a seamless discovery experience that brings our mission to life.

 

Location:  This role is office-based at our San Francisco (HQ) office, our Bellevue, WA office, or Los Angeles.

 

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities) 

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and understand user needs 
  • Create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new and existing products 
  • Design intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience across platforms (web, mobile, etc.) 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and marketing, to ensure design specifications are accurately implemented and brand standards are upheld 
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing results 
  • Stay up to date with design trends, industry standards, and best practices to ensure the company’s digital products remain innovative and competitive 
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital and visual channels 
  • Ensure accessibility standards and usability guidelines are adhered to in all design work 

 

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role. 
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work across web and mobile platforms. 
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools for general design tasks 
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and manage multiple design projects simultaneously. 
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices. 
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • Familiarity with user research tools (e.g., UsabilityHub, Lookback, etc.) 
  • Experience with front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus 
  • Understanding of latest AI tools and ability to use them to accelerate prototyping and UI/UX design workflow

Compensation & Benefits

For U.S. Based candidates: To ensure fairness and transparency, the starting base salary range for this role for candidates in the U.S. are listed, varying based on location experience, skills, and qualifications.  In addition to base salary, this role will also be offered equity and subsidized benefits (details available upon request).

$139,000 - $174,200 USD
