What You'll Do
We are looking for a mission focused Customer Engineer to support our rapidly expanding DoD market. The successful candidate will serve as the primary interaction point with existing and potential customers. You will be responsible for understanding the capabilities and strengths of our entire product stack. You will work closely with our customers, product team, engineering team and sales team to ensure that our products meet the specific needs of our DoD clients.
Role Responsibilities - How You Will Make an Impact
- Become a product expert by developing a thorough understanding of our software products and capabilities, and use this knowledge to help us deliver high-impact solutions to clients
- Live-fire testing of our AI enabled firearm instrumentation equipment. This will require leveraging our on-site shooting range
- Lead all aspects of the technical sales process including product alignment, data environment discovery, and product capability demonstrations
- Lead pre-sales customer engagements to ensure capability alignment, including in-field customer POCs, training, and evaluations
- Support the smooth transition to solution delivery by thoroughly understanding the customer environment, data requirements, and resulting solution complexity
- Conceive and drive new ways to use our product in support of evolving customer requirements and operating environments
- Develop and execute rigorous full platform test plans designed to verify product requirements
- Track and report issues and platform performance to ensure product requirements are met
Relevant Skills and Experience
- 5 years of experience working for or with the US military
- 5 years of prior firearms use experience
- Comfort with firearms as either an individual shooter or supervising other shooters as a range safety officer
- Experience with network setup and configuration, IoT sensors, and familiarity with testing of software or hardware products
- Experience developing data-driven approaches to test plan design, analysis, and reporting
- Possess well-established analytical and technical ability and experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Existing or ability to obtain a DoD security clearance
This position will require access to restricted information and facilities protected under U.S. laws and regulations, including the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
