The role:

We are hiring a Solution Architect whose mission will be to design and deliver multi-cloud solutions on the Salesforce Platform that deliver the optimal business value for the customer. You will report to the Senior Manager of Solution Architecture. This role will be assessing viable solution options, providing industry best practices, formulating, and presenting solution options, documenting design and support artifacts, and providing hypercare for solutions released to production.

You enable stakeholders to feel heard when working to understand their requirements while steering the solution architecture to conform to established best practices and design patterns. What you will do…

  • Utilise your experience with best-in-breed CRM applications including, but not limited to, Salesforce, Marketing Automation Applications, Forecasting Systems, Bookings and Commissions, Salesforce CPQ and Financialforce
  • Share your clear understanding of the entire sales cycle comprising Top, Middle and Bottom of the funnel
  • Use your expertise in the designing of new solutions using Salesforce customizations. You are an expert in designing data flow and architecture diagrams
  • Develop new solutions within the context of a multi-developer DevOps environment (developing solutions in a sandbox and promoting them through a release pipeline)
  • Take on a business use case driven approach to come up with solutions that are functionally and technically feasible
  • Document technical solutions for new projects and integrations while assisting with the existing technology portfolio through proposing improvements and alternatives
  • Use your communication skills effectively with both business stakeholders and engineering teams, to conceptualize and sell ideas internally and attain win-win outcomes
  • Be analytical, organized, and have great time management skills
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously that have fluctuating requirements, and time-sensitive deadlines
  • Strong customer service mentality while being curious, methodical, rational, analytical, and logical

What we expect…

  • 5+ years of experience designing complex, enterprise-wide business solutions on the Salesforce Lightning Platform using both low code (Flow) and pro code (Lightning Web Components, Apex, JavaScript, and VisualForce) approaches.
  • 5+ Years of experience in optimizing the Salesforce platform, retiring tech debt, fine tuning managed apps, governor limits and performance
  • US Citizenship is required 
  • At least one year experience with SalesforceDX or other related DevOps tooling (Copado)
  • Knowledge of Package-Based Application Development supporting multi-org architecture
  • Experience documenting requirements, supporting artifacts, test plans, and stakeholder agreement
  • Experience with identifying the most important requirements for a given solution and the ability to successfully negotiate with stakeholders toward an iterative approach to add value
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Declarative, Programming and Administration (develop code, custom objects, Lightning components, Visualforce pages, Apex, reports, workflows, assignment rules, and more)
  • Knowledge of APEX triggers/SOQL queries and stored procedures
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Web Services APIs
  • Knowledge on Integration/Middleware tools such as MuleSoft and Workato
  • Salesforce.com Application Architect, Developer & Designer certifications
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to collaborate with Global IT and business team members

Salary range guidance for this position is: $120,000-145,000 per year.
