R&D Project Manager

Armis is looking for an experienced R&D Project Manager, to join our Project Management Office. This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects within our organization, while also managing deployments to production environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, technical understanding, and the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project management - understands project’s goals and details, proficient in crafting project roadmaps, overseeing scope, backlog, and timelines, monitoring crucial milestones, managing KPIs, and navigating essential dependencies.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and make adjustments as necessary.
- Establish continuous improvement as part of the culture, processes and tools.
- Define and enforce best practices and standards for the production environments operations.
- Release planning and delivery - defining and implementing the best practices and tools of our planning process.
- Cross organizational communication and coordination of processes, project statuses and more.
- Identify problems by observing and studying system functions and performance results.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of proven experience in release management or project management.
- Proven experience in coordinating cross functional teams.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and release management best practices.
- Understanding of the development and maintenance processes of SaaS products.
- Jira admin expert.
- Fluent in English - writing and speaking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and resolve release related issues, risks and conflicts.
- Emotional intelligence to manage the stress, and resilience and adaptability to cope with high pressure situations.
- Working in dockerized environments - an advantage.
- Understanding and experience managing cloud-based platforms such as AWS - an advantage.
- Understanding of queue management concepts - an advantage.
