Location: This will be an Office-based role in Bucharest (3-4 days a week)

About the Role

Armis is seeking a Manager, Social Media to join our newly established Marketing Centre of Excellence (MCoE) in Romania. This is a critical role within our global marketing organization, responsible for ensuring our social media plans, campaigns, and activities are executed to the highest standard.

In this role you will oversee a local Social Media Specialist, collaborate closely with the global marketing team, and report to the Director of Social Media based in London. Your role will ensure that Armis' presence across social media platforms thrives, engages audiences, and drives measurable business outcomes.

What you’ll do:

  • Social Media Execution:
    • Manage and implement global social media campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, and others.
    • Tailor campaigns for local and global audiences to maximize reach and engagement.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver compelling, on-brand content.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Oversee and mentor the local Social Media Specialist, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture
    • Focus on getting stuff done but with accuracy 
  • Content Development:
    • Create, schedule, and publish engaging and visually appealing content.
    • Stay informed about emerging social media trends and platforms to ensure Armis stays ahead of the curve.
    • Ensure content adheres to brand guidelines and resonates with target audiences.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
    • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics across all social media channels.
    • Use insights to optimize future campaigns and improve ROI.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the Director of Social Media and other global marketing leaders to align on strategy and priorities.
    • Partner with the local MCoE team to ensure smooth execution and alignment with organizational goals.

 

What we expect:

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of professional experience in social media management, preferably in B2B technology, SaaS, or cybersecurity.
    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and analytics tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar).
    • Strong leadership and mentoring skills with experience managing junior team members.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (fluency required).
    • Creative mindset with an eye for detail and design.
  • Attributes:
    • Passionate about social media, with a deep understanding of its influence and commercial potential.
    • Collaborative and self-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
    • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
