
AI System Engineer

As Armis grows rapidly, we are looking for candidates to be a pivotal leader in the technical integration and adoption of AI within Armis.
This role focuses on implementing a robust technology framework to drive immediate priority outcomes, enhance employee productivity, and scale with future business needs.
The AI System Engineer will work to introduce and integrate advanced AI tools for operational efficiency, improved communication, and decreased dependency on fragmented existing systems, ensuring a continuous and effective AI rollout across all departments.
You will join the Armis global IT & Security team and work closely with all the company’s departments and end-users, especially the Office of CISO team.
What you'll do
- Lead the technical integration of AI into the existing tech stack, partnering with AI Champions and department leaders for efficient deployment and adoption.
- Drive delivery velocity and quality by providing system expertise to shorten processing times and identify the most effective routes to AI execution.
- Provide focused support for continuous AI adoption across all teams and employees, including observability through reports and metrics.
- Act as a central interface for department champions, streamlining effort coordination.
- Ensure continuous operational maintenance of internal AI systems and tools.
- Contribute to moving Armis toward a cohesive, unified AI experience.
- Integrate security-by-design and least privilege principles into all AI systems from the outset.
- Collaborate with the AI Council to define and refine the AI strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Research and recommend new AI tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement training programs and documentation to support company-wide AI adoption.
What we expect
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- 3+ years working as a System Engineer, Automation Engineer, or similar role in IT/Infrastructure.
- 2+ years of experience supporting AI/ML platforms or data-driven systems.
- 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proficiency in scripting/automation with Python, JavaScript, Go, and Bash.
- Experience with system integration and maintaining enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) from a deployment/operations perspective.
- Understanding of model lifecycle (deployment, monitoring, retraining).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally with R&D and GTM employees.
- Experience delivering training sessions, writing user guides, and building internal knowledge bases.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock for enterprise generative AI integrations.
- Experience with MLOps platforms (MLflow, Kubeflow, or SageMaker).
- Experience building or supporting automated data pipelines (Airflow, Prefect, APIs, ETL).
- Strong background in automation frameworks (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent).
- Experience enabling large-scale organizational AI adoption through training, documentation, and internal knowledge bases.
- Exposure to LLMOps and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus).
- Knowledge of AI system security and compliance best practices.
- Experience with Enterprise AI Platform solutions (e.g., Unleash, Glean, Ask AI, or similar).
