Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain core company infrastructure, including search, policies, and foundational platform services
• Build and operate backend systems that implement core business logic and large-scale data processing workflows
• Take ownership of architectural and design challenges with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and reliability
• Contribute to the design and evolution of the Armis platform
• Develop extensible libraries and utilities that accelerate development while ensuring scalability and high quality
• Collaborate closely with product and other R&D teams
• Help solve complex customer issues related to our platform and solutions

What we expect

• 5+ years of experience with Python
• Strong background in system architecture and creative problem-solving for complex technical challenges
• Experience designing and operating database-backed systems at scale
• Experience developing and maintaining production, enterprise-level systems
• Experience working with high-performance, large-scale systems
• A strong team-player mindset, sense of ownership, urgency, and eagerness to learn and

Desirable Multipliers

• Experience with modern infrastructure stacks such as Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies
• Experience with asynchronous programming models
• Hands-on experience with microservice architectures
• Experience building and operating distributed systems at scale
