The Vice President, Marketing position is critical to spearheading Health Care Provider (HCP) efforts and multichannel Direct to Consumer (DTC) consumer campaigns. This role will lead the team and drive the important task of reaching patients and parents and activating them to visit their physicians, which is a key driver of neffy demand.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute comprehensive HCP and consumer marketing strategies that will drive prescriptions and adoption by HCP’s and build customer awareness and engagement that will influence patients to request a prescription for neffy, and to carry it with them, and use it as recommended.
- This position will work with the ad agency, PR, advocacy and other partners to develop strategies and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of marketing plans and influence multi-functional marketing partners.
- Oversees team responsible for all aspects of Marketing and Brand leadership for neffy and future products.
- Leads team to effectively execute strategy and tactical plan by orchestrating partnerships and activities across large matrix team including Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Insights & Analytics, Market Access, and a nationwide Sales team.
- In partnership with Ops and Finance, defines product volume and financial forecasts and is responsible for achieving forecast goals.
- Drives leading edge multi-channel marketing innovation, including the application of advanced analytics to inform strategic decision making and enhance execution
- Ensures that brand and portfolio annual strategic and operational plans are insight driven and enable competitive differentiation and exceptional customer experience
- Inspires team to develop highly competitive and motivating creative campaigns and promotional materials by fully leveraging the creative capabilities of external agencies and effectively partnering with Copy Approval boards. This includes the full range of marketing mix (traditional, large-scale TV, digital) and customers (consumers, retailers, HCPs)
- Allocates a substantial A&P budget and monitors effectively throughout the year to maximize return.
- Ensures team establishes clear brand performance tracking and diagnosis system and rapidly develops actions plans for course correction.
- Ensures strong community insight underpins meaningful, engaging and impactful Direct to Patient marketing and is attuned to the needs of patients and caregivers impacted by SAR.
- Actively contributes to key strategic decisions on market access and pricing strategies in complex US payer environment as part of the Governance board.
- Partners closely with global commercial strategy and medical affairs teams to ensure that US insights and needs are well understood and supported through co-development of global strategies.
- Accountable for the US commercial input and interface with Research and Development to design pipeline target product profiles and supportive development and regulatory strategies, as well as ensuring optimal lifecycle management and evidence generation strategies for in-line assets
- Visibly leads with ARS culture of values, inclusive leadership, talent management and development
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree plus 15+ years of experience executing marketing strategies with at least 10 years in life sciences/pharmaceuticals. Acceptable combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience launching products with a startup pharmaceutical company is highly preferred.
- Successful execution of consumer, HCP, and brand campaigns.

- Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and pharmaceutical industry trends.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing omni-channel marketing campaigns.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication, platform, and people skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Must be able to travel as needed for the role, up to 20% per month.
