The Role

We are seeking an Audit Manager for a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to work with clients in a variety of industries such as Non-Profit, Small Business, Construction, Real Estate, Retail, Education and more. The ideal candidate be eager for professional growth and have substantial experience conducting audits within public accounting. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be team-oriented, and thrive with direct client interaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively plan and execute assurance engagements.
  • Identify business process risks and develop recommendations based on audits
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and clients.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate staff on client engagements.
  • Organize and monitor progress of client engagement in relation to budgets and due dates.
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships.
  • Function as communication channel between senior management, clients, and staff. 

 

Required Qualifications

  • CPA
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field    
  • 5+ years of experience carrying out audit methodologies & techniques within public accounting
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP guidelines 
  • Experience in performing Uniform Guidance, Yellow Book, Single Audits or/and Employee Benefit Plan audits
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build and manage relationships internally and externally
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent work ethic and a sense of humor are a must!

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Non-Profit and/or Construction industry experience
