Position Summary

Our CPA led team has experience with many different payrolls. We focus on businesses with less than 100 employees that want more than a call center for customer service. Our clients prefer a local team member that knows their business. Payroll is generally every business’ most important expense so why would you trust that service to someone with very little experience? We want to make sure that we do everything we can to help clients focus on what's important.

We are quickly growing and looking for motivated individuals with payroll experience to join our ever-growing company at White Glove Payroll.

The Sr. Payroll Concierge will be responsible for supporting our clients perform basic functions within their White Glove Payroll software. The Payroll Services team assists customers across the country. Payroll regulations and White Glove Payroll software are constantly evolving and this role is a client resource providing support and training as requested.

Because we are searching for a committed individual looking for a long-time career, White Glove Payroll will work with his/her strengths and preferences as time passes to ensure maximum growth for all parties.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of payroll practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the payroll aspects of employee benefits policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of all relevant payroll, employment, and income tax laws, regulations, and operating guidelines.
  • Analyzes, prepares, and inputs payroll data. Uses an automated system to produce accurate and timely payroll.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
  • Reconciles monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports for management.
  • Ability to accurately perform data entry, to formulate, process and generate computerized reports.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of pay rates, withholding allowance, benefits deductions, garnishments, etc.
  • Ad-hoc tasks and special projects, as needed.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years’ payroll experience
  • Desire to work well with others
  • Possess integrity and must maintain privacy and confidentiality of information
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and automated accounting systems
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
  • Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
  • Experienced organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Karbon, Payroll Relief, or similar preferred (not required)
