The Role

As a Senior Audit Associate, you will work in a challenging and rewarding position. You will be expected to manage clients in a variety of industries, such as non-profit, construction, small business, manufacturing, medical, real estate, retail, hospitality, education, and more. The ideal candidate will have prior experience performing audits of companies. The successful candidate will have excellent inter-personal skills, be team-oriented, be comfortable with direct client interaction, and will regularly seek opportunities for professional growth. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Helping to effectively plan and execute assurance engagements
  • Guiding less-experienced associates on client engagements
  • Organizing and monitoring client projects and tasks
  • Managing day-to-day client relationships
  • Functioning as the communication channel between associates, clients, and management

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field    
  • 2+ years of experience carrying out audit methodologies & techniques within public accounting
  • In-depth foundational knowledge of US GAAP guidelines 
  • Experience in performing non-profit audits 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build and manage relationships internally and externally
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent work ethic and a sense of humor are a must!

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA
  • Uniform Guidance, Yellow Book, Single Audits or Construction industry experience
