JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Manager, Reporting and Technical Accounting professional to oversee the accuracy and timeliness of all internal and external financial reporting. In this key role, you will also provide expert technical accounting guidance on complex issues - including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and incentive compensation - and support administering the Company’s equity and non-equity incentive compensation plans across all ASG entities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, solution-oriented environment, with a passion for precision and the ability to build strong relationships with external auditors. This is an exempt role that will report to the VP of Finance.
You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will:
- Ensure all internal and external reporting is accurate and timely across all ASG entities’:
- Prepare the monthly and quarterly reporting packages for internal management, private equity sponsors, and external lenders
- Refine and enhance internal controls over financial reporting in the Workiva software platform to ensure data accuracy and full GAAP compliance
- Design and implement automated reporting processes within Workiva to streamline financial reporting
- Own preparation of the annual Audited Financial Statements (“AFS”), ensuring timely and accurate completion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and review financial data and disclosures for the AFS
- Provide expert technical accounting guidance:
- Offer authoritative guidance on complex technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, incentive compensation, and other relevant GAAP topics
- Research and document accounting considerations for new transactions such as debt modifications, acquisitions, divestitures, and minority investments, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Update and maintain accounting memos for audit purposes
- Stay current with evolving GAAP regulations and ensure their timely implementation within the Company
- Maintain the Company’s Accounting Policy Handbook, ensuring all policies remain updated and compliant with current standards
- Support administering the Company’s equity and non-equity incentive compensation plans across all ASG entities:
- Design and implement a cross-functional process involving Finance, HR, and Legal teams to ensure seamless participant communication, award documentation and tracking
- Prepare journal entries and financial statement disclosures related to incentive compensation in compliance with ASC 718 and 409A regulations

- You have 7 plus years of progressive experience in financial reporting and technical accounting.
- Strong familiarity with Workiva software platform preferred.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. CPA and CEP certification preferred.
- You have a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, ASC 718, 409A regulations, and technical accounting for complex issues such as revenue recognition and lease accounting.
- You can distill complex accounting issues into simple narratives for a wide variety of audiences.
- You have experience with cap table management and equity distribution.
- You have a track record of excellent project management skills.
- You are proficient in excel and know how to analyze financial results for accuracy and reasonableness.
- You are energized by a relentless attention to detail.
- You have a passion for organization and improving processes.
- You are responsive and have a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
- You are self-directed and manage multiple deadlines.
- You possess excellent collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience in a private equity-backed environment is a plus.
Base Salary Range: The target salary range for this position is [$175,000 - $210,000], and is part of a competitive total rewards package including an annual bonus, employer-paid benefits, L&D stipend and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
