Job Description

This is an incredible opportunity to join one of the leaders in transportation and logistics and build the future of freight. We are looking for an exceptional Business Operations Manager to join our team and make an immediate impact. 

As a Business Operations Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in Trucker Tools’ strategy and business operations. You’ll be responsible for driving operational excellence and executing on strategic initiatives that unlock long-term growth. This includes improving critical business processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and translating strategy to operational execution. You’ll report directly to the VP of Operations. We’re looking for a strong, adaptable operator to join a lean team that is obsessed with continuous improvement. 

Responsibilities

  • Quickly learn and perform various functional roles (e.g., new customer onboarding, customer support, etc.) to identify and implement process improvements
  • Translate strategic initiatives into operational plans with clear timelines, deliverables, and measures of success
  • Serve as the glue among cross-functional teams, including sales, account management, product, engineering, operations, and customer support to execute on key initiatives
  • Analyze operational data to inform critical business decisions
  • Support operations leadership with strategic planning

Experience & Qualifications

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience in business operations, product management, implementation project management, management consulting, strategy, or similar roles
  • Experience in a B2B and/or SaaS company
  • Experience designing, documenting, and owning scalable business processes
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, account management, and operations leaders
  • Experience navigating complex customer relationships and external partnerships to drive product success
  • Experience with Salesforce, Metabase, or other similar data reporting tools
  • Thrive in a hyper growth environment, remaining flexible and willing to adapt when needed
  • Experience in the freight industry is a plus (not required) 

Other Information

  • Location: Trucker Tools is a 100% remote company; San Francisco Bay Area, Chicago, or New York is a plus. Travel to team offsites expected 2-4 times per year; additional travel on an as-needed basis
  • Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000
