Azure Data Engineer - Analyst

Role Summary:

Seeking an Azure Data Engineer with 2–4 years of experience to build and support data pipelines on Azure and contribute to our Data Warehouse and Microsoft Fabric initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ADF pipelines for data ingestion and transformation
• Ingest data from databases, APIs, SFTP, and SharePoint into ADLS/Blob
• Process data across Raw → Staging → EDW layers
• Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures
• Implement incremental/delta loads and basic error handling
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines
• Work with Lakehouse concepts (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
• Support Python/PySpark-based transformations
• Contribute to Microsoft Fabric (Pipelines, Lakehouse, Notebooks)

Required Skills:

• 2–4 years of Data Engineering experience
• Strong Azure Data Factory (ADF) experience
• Strong SQL (queries, stored procedures)
• Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts (data modeling, staging, and EDW layers)
• Good understanding of incremental and delta data loading strategies
• Working knowledge of Python with PySpark for data transformations on Azure Databricks
• Understanding of Lakehouse architecture
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric (nice to have)
• Experience with metadata/config-driven pipeline frameworks (nice to have)
