We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Creative Lead to join our growing Ashfield MedComms Creative team. Ashfield MedComms, an Inizio Medical agency, is a healthcare marketing and communications network built for today where a global mindset meets individual depth and specialism. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will have the opportunity to work closely with large pharmaceutical clients, creating award winning work and pushing  industry boundaries across a range of creative outputs.

As Creative Lead, you will:

  • Be a versatile, hands on creative; going deep into the work to ensure it has tangible impact.
  • Oversee team members and freelancers on your projects and work collaboratively within the agency across multiple business units.
  • Form unique and modern concepts in line with the creative strategy, understand the core issue and trust your judgement. 
  • Learn at pace and often on the job, taking the initiative to gain further insight from multiple mediums. 
  • Play an active part in the creative thinking on pitches and projects
  • Be confident in understanding creative strategy, challenge traditional thinking and explain how it could be activated in the project  
  • Transform creative strategy into compelling and creative stories

To succeed, you will have:

  • Previous creative agency experience, including experience leading and managing creative teams and mentoring fellow team members.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with previous experience of presenting ideation and strategies to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Solid knowledge of creative development and creative strategy and constructing robust creative briefs.
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and with external clients/stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in playing an active role in leading the creative thinking on pitches and projects.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing creative strategy into compelling and creative stories.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong creative thinking.
