The role

As a Medical Writer, you will develop high-quality medical communications materials that are accurate, engaging, and aligned with client and regulatory requirements. Reporting to a Senior Scientific Team Director, you will work with account teams, editors, and designers to deliver projects across a Neurology, publications account and a Immunology, medical affairs account.

This role is suitable for candidates with experience in medical communications who enjoy translating scientific data into clear, audience-appropriate content.

What you will do

  • Develop medical communications materials, including publications, slide decks, congress materials, manuscripts, and educational content
  • Interpret clinical data and scientific literature accurately and responsibly
  • Adapt content for different audiences, including healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with account managers, editors, and creative teams
  • Respond to client feedback and revise materials as required
  • Manage your own workload to meet agreed timelines
  • Apply internal processes and compliance standards consistently

What you will have

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Experience as a Medical Writer within a medical communications agency.
  • A degree in a life science, medicine, pharmacy, or related subject (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong scientific writing and editing skills
  • Ability to interpret and summarise complex clinical data
  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Confidence working collaboratively in cross-functional teams

Nice to have (but not essential)

  • Background in Neurology publications
  • Familiarity with GPP, ICMJE, or other relevant guidelines
  • Experience working across multiple therapy areas
