QC HVAC Service Technician
We are looking for an experienced and customer-oriented Quality Control HVAC Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in the installation, maintenance, and service of HVAC systems. Your focus will be on performing quality control audits, addressing warranty issues, and supporting field operations to help deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality control checks on all HVAC installations
- Perform preventative maintenance, service and repair of newly installed residential and light commercial HVAC equipment up to 5 tons
- Demonstrate respect and compassion when communicating with clients on work performed and on resolving warranty issues and repairs
- Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records
- Address and resolve warranty-related issues with empathy and professionalism
- Accurately complete service documentation, including forms, reports, and logs
- Ensure all work meets company safety and quality standards
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear updates and recommendations
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of HVAC experience (residential and/or commercial)
- Universal EPA Certification
- Valid California driver’s license with insurable driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in confined, hot, or elevated environments
- Ability to lift and carry 20–50 lbs and regularly climb ladders
