Sales Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Sales Manager / Sales Trainer to lead our high-performing Plumbing and HVAC sales team. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong teams, improving closing rates, and developing talent through coaching, training, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of Plumbing and HVAC Sales Specialists
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals and KPIs
- Monitor sales pipeline, closing ratios, and revenue generation
- Conduct one-on-one meetings and team huddles to drive performance
- Review proposals, pricing, and financing options to ensure competitiveness and consistency
- Support high-value sales opportunities and help close key deals
Sales Training & Development
- Onboard and train new sales team members on product knowledge, sales process, and company standards
- Conduct roleplays, shadow appointments, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement ongoing training programs focused on:
- Consultative selling techniques
- HVAC and plumbing systems (e.g., tankless water heaters, ductless units, water filtration, indoor air quality)
- Overcoming objections and closing deals
- Using digital tools and CRM systems effectively
- Stay current on industry trends, product updates, code changes, and rebates
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with installation and service departments to ensure seamless customer experience
- Collaborate with marketing and lead generation teams to optimize lead quality
- Report regularly to senior leadership on sales performance, team development, and strategic opportunities
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in HVAC, plumbing, or home services
- 2+ years of leadership or training experience a plus
- Deep understanding of Plumbing and HVAC systems, components, and terminology
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, coaching, and motivational skills
- Proficient with CRM platforms and proposal tools (e.g., ServiceTitan, Salesforce)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Valid Driver’s License – Required

Pay Range
$145,000 - $160,000 USD
