Electrical Install and Service Technician
Join our dynamic team at ASI Heating, Air, Plumbing and Electrical as an Electrical Install & Service Technician! We are seeking motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the electric industry. In this role, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, repair and sales of electrical systems in residential settings, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools to ensure optimal performance and deliver top-notch service to our clients. This role blends hands‑on electrical expertise with customer education and solution‑based recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installations, Maintenance, and Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, providing timely repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of systems. Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential settings.
- Customer Interaction and Sales: Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and providing detailed information regarding the homeowner's electrical needs. Support the sales process by explaining value, presenting solutions, and providing estimates for needed electrical repairs and additions.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of work performed, including service calls, installations, and materials used, and complete necessary reports.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to create a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other electricians and team members, contributing to a positive and efficient work atmosphere.
- Learning and Development: Stay updated on electrical codes, technologies, and best practices through ongoing education and training opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as an electrician. 1+ years of experience in residential customer service, and/or sales, highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong electrical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Licensing: Valid State of California Electrician’s certification as required by local regulations.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) license through the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) once hired.

- Must be willing to undergo a background check, drug screen, physical, and lift test.

Work Environment:
Work in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust.
