Building Automation & IT Systems Analyst Jr

ASI is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Building Automation & IT Systems Analyst Jr to support building automation systems, remote monitoring operations, and internal IT functions. This hybrid role plays a key part in maintaining system performance, connectivity, and cybersecurity across the ASIConnect Monitoring Platform and customer BAS environments. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, a passion for technology, and the ability to troubleshoot and support both operational and IT systems effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform remote monitoring and operational support of connected sites, including system connectivity and asset performance.
- Monitor environmental and energy parameters and respond to system alarms.
- Adjust and support BAS programming, including ALC Controls and Niagara N4 platforms.
- Analyze IoT data to evaluate system performance and provide recommendations.
- Connect new sites to the ASIConnect Remote Monitoring System and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Log and track all support tickets within the Technology Department ticketing system.
- Provide basic IT support, including onboarding and offboarding employees.
- Assist with setup and troubleshooting of computers, mobile devices, and internal IT systems.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives and act as a liaison for security-related matters.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
- No prior experience required.
- Proficiency with modern IT systems, tools, and technology.
- Basic knowledge of computer and mobile device setup and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- General understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
- General understanding of VPN systems.
- Programming knowledge in languages such as Python, C, or C++.
- General understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Basic understanding of HVAC control systems.
