We are seeking a highly skilled Senior C++ Engineer and Migration Specialist to drive critical initiatives within the Health industry. Working closely with our technical lead and a remote development team, you will ensure the flawless quality and accuracy of C++ code while leveraging AI tools to modularize applications into modern architectures.

What you will do:

Code Migration & Troubleshooting

• Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the converted code.
• Provide expertise in C++ to address complex code scenarios.
• Document the conversion process and any manual adjustments made to the code.

Modernization & Architecture

• Assist in modularizing the legacy application to microservices.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure the converted code integrates seamlessly with the new architecture.

Quality Assurance & Team Collaboration

• Ensure the code strictly adheres to best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to the team.

Tools & Technologies:

Platforms & Infrastructure: SQL Server, MongoDB, and Containerization platforms.

Security & DevSecOps: Implementation of best practices and rigorous coding standards during code reviews.

Cloud & IaC: Modern software architecture including Microservices and Git for version control.

What you bring: Experience:

Proven C++ development background with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and hands-on experience in code migration projects (particularly from C++ to other languages).

Consulting / Leadership: The ability to provide technical expertise during complex code scenarios, confidently participate in code reviews, and deliver constructive feedback to the development team.

Mindset: A proactive, detail-oriented approach characterized by excellent problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and a strong focus on delivery and innovation.

Location & Hours: Remote capability from Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, Brazil, Peru, or Argentina, working aligned with EST.
