About the Role

We are seeking a MuleSoft Developer to build and operate the integration layer between Salesforce and the surrounding enterprise: ERP, finance, warehouse and third-party APIs. The role builds API-led integrations on Anypoint Platform, and is increasingly the reason Data 360 and Agentforce have trustworthy data to work with. It carries operational accountability, not just build.

What You Will Do

Integration Development

•  Build Mule applications and APIs on Anypoint Platform following API-led layering — system, process, experience
• Design and publish API specifications in RAML or OAS, and manage them through Anypoint Exchange
• Implement DataWeave transformations that are readable by the next engineer

Salesforce Integration

• Integrate Salesforce via the Salesforce connector, Platform Events, Change Data Capture and Bulk API
• Design for Salesforce API limits, bulkification and retry semantics rather than discovering them
• Support Data 360 ingestion and Agentforce action endpoints

Reliability and Operations

•  Implement error handling, dead-letter and replay so failures are recoverable rather than lost
• Instrument flows with Anypoint Monitoring and alerting, and own the on-call runbook
• Performance-tune integrations against real volume, not sample payloads

Governance

• Apply API policies: security, throttling, client management and versioning
• Maintain integration inventory and contracts, so nobody has to read code to know what calls what

What You Bring

Experience

• 3+ years building enterprise integrations, including hands-on delivery on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform

Proficiency with:

• Mule 4, DataWeave, Anypoint Studio, Exchange, API Manager and Runtime Manager
• API-led design, RAML or OpenAPI specification, and API governance
• Salesforce integration mechanics: REST and Bulk APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, limits
• Messaging and event platforms such as Kafka, JMS or Anypoint MQ
• CI/CD for Mule applications with Maven and a pipeline tool
•  MuleSoft Certified Developer — Level 1 required; Integration Architect preferred
• Experience integrating ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics
• Production support experience, including having owned an integration incident end to end
• Professional English — able to run requirement and design conversations directly with North American stakeholders

This is a contributor role, not a task-execution role. The team already has people who deliver what they are handed. What it needs is people who question whether the right thing is being built, and say so.

• Holds a point of view and states it, including to senior stakeholders and including after a decision has been made when new evidence warrants reopening it.
• Asks why a process, data model, or delivery standard exists before extending it, rather than replicating an incumbent pattern because it is the incumbent pattern.
• Surfaces risk, ambiguity, and weak requirements at the moment they are noticed — not at the sprint review, and not at go-live.
• Works past the assigned ticket: proposes better approaches, improves what sits around the work, and leaves the team’s practice stronger than it was found.
• Argues from evidence and changes position on evidence. Comfortable being wrong in public, uncomfortable staying quiet.

Success Indicators

•  Integrations fail visibly and replay cleanly, with no silent data loss
• API reuse rises: new consumers use existing system APIs rather than building point-to-point 
• Integration incidents fall, and the ones that happen have written cause
•  Downstream Data 360 and reporting teams trust the data arriving from integration

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent experience
