About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to lead our global risk management strategy. This critical leadership role will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across our operations, ensuring the stability and resilience of our business. You will build and lead a robust risk management framework, and serve as a key advisor to the Executive Leadership team.
As CRO, you will oversee all aspects of risk management, including financial, operational, compliance, and strategic risks. You'll develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies, monitor risk exposures, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. This involves fostering a culture of risk awareness, enhancing our risk management capabilities, and providing insightful analysis to support informed decision-making as Aspire continues its rapid growth in the dynamic FinTech sector.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in a senior Risk Management Leadership role, preferably within the FinTech or Financial Services sector.
- Law degree or equivalent qualifications.
- Deep understanding of risk management frameworks and methodologies.
- Proven track record of managing complex risks and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to provide strategic risk advice and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience building and leading high-performing risk management teams.
- A commitment to ethical conduct and professional integrity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a high-growth, technology-driven company.
- Familiarity with international risk management standards and regulations.
- Location is flexible but the willingness/ ability to relocate to Singapore is a huge plus (not compulsory)
